On March 17, the People's Committee of Dak Am town, Krong No district, Dak Nong province reported on a series of traffic accidents that occurred in the area.
The accident occurred at 11:15 a.m. on March 16, on the inter-commune road in Bon Broih, Dak Mat town.
The tractor-trailer with license plate 49C-333.08, driven by driver D.V.S (born in 1995, residing in Phu Thuan village, Quang Phu commune, Krong No) in the direction of Tan Thanh - Dak Lam - Nam Xuan, when going downhill, crashed into a truck with license plate 79C-145.95 that was waiting to pull the truck with license plate 37C-058.39 that had broken.
After the collision, the tractor-trailer plunged onto the right side of the road, causing the trailer to overturn, crushing the front of the truck with license plate 51C-522.32 driven by driver T.C.L (born in 1977, residing in Dak Hoa village, Tan Thanh commune, Krong No) in the opposite direction.
As a result, driver L died on the spot, driver of car 79C-145.95 was injured, and three cars were severely damaged.
The People's Committee of Dak Am town has directed the town police to protect the scene, coordinate with medical staff and functional units of the provincial police to rescue, provide emergency care to victims and regulate traffic.
