Binh Thuan ward in the East of Lam Dong province is currently one of the areas with many key projects, promising to create a breakthrough in infrastructure and urban space.
Currently, there are 2 major projects being implemented in the ward: Van Thanh Bridge with an investment capital of more than 225 billion VND and Song Ca Ty Apartment with an investment capital of nearly 800 billion VND.
However, site clearance (GPMB) for projects is facing many challenges. The need to add more cadastral personnel to meet the increasingly large workload.

On September 20, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan Ward said that in terms of progress, the Van Thanh bridge project has completed 21 site clearance documents, with an area of over 8,480m2. Of which, 7 households have handed over land, the remaining are continuing to be mobilized.
With the Song Ca Ty Apartment project, the total area to be reclaimed is nearly 64,000m2, but so far only 3 organizations have handed over the land. The remaining area of over 17,500m2 is still stuck, mainly due to disputes over land origin and assets on the land.
In addition, from 2026, many large-scale projects will continue to be implemented in the ward such as: The route from Le Duan - Truong Chinh intersection to the expressway intersection (investment capital of more than 4,700 billion VND), the North - South high-speed railway passing through the ward is more than 4km long.

In addition, it also takes into account the implementation of the Le Duan Street Southern Residential Area project, Ham Hiep Resettlement Area, Provincial Funeral Home and a number of other projects... These are all important infrastructure projects, directly affecting the urban appearance.
Mr. Nguyen Van Dat - Vice Chairman of Binh Thuan Ward People's Committee said that historical problems in land management and construction order are a big challenge for the locality in ensuring site clearance progress.
Providing this, as in the Song Ca Ty Apartment Project and Van Thanh Bridge, the situation of buying and selling agricultural land using handwritten documents, illegally building houses (with or without being punished) causes difficulties.
This takes a lot of time to verify the origin of the land, prepare documents as well as apply compensation, support and resettlement policies.

While the ward land officer is "overloaded". In addition to handling regular land procedures such as granting certificates, changing land use purposes, handling petitions, etc., they also have to participate in the entire site clearance process for large projects. This leads to great work pressure and the potential risk of delays.
Therefore, Binh Thuan Ward People's Committee really needs to supplement specialized and experienced cadastral personnel to share the workload, helping the locality complete its tasks.
In the coming time, the locality will continue to coordinate with the front and organizations to promote propaganda to the people, mobilize the handover of land, and create consensus in implementing key projects.
At the same time, listen to the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of households. Thereby, the study continued to propose to competent authorities for consideration and resolution in accordance with legal regulations.
