Joy bursts on the "bridge of livelihood
At the beginning of 2026, the atmosphere at both ends of Duy Phuoc bridge became busier than ever. Convoys of motorbikes lined up to move through the steel bridge span that has just been urgently installed. For poor workers who regularly have to travel through this area, this is not simply a traffic project, but also a "life bridge" to help them escape the scene of having to travel 5 times further than before.
Mr. Dang Thanh Hung, a resident of Duy Phuoc commune, excitedly shared when driving through the new bridge span for the first time: "This is a vital road for workers to go to work every day. Having a bridge to travel like this is too good, very wonderful. If the bridge collapses, people will travel far and hard, greatly affecting work and income.

Sharing that joy, Ms. Hua Thi Hoa said that during the time the bridge broke down, travel became a nightmare.
Normally, going on this road is only timely at 5:30 am, but since the bridge broke down, I have to wake up at 5 am to go around, which is both time-consuming and costs money on gasoline. Now that there is a bridge, our travel and business are less difficult, saving a lot. Hearing the news that the bridge is cleared, people call to ask each other around all the time, everyone is happy and excited because from now on riding a motorbike through here is more peaceful and convenient," Ms. Hoa said emotionally.
According to local people, since the bridge broke down, they have had to bend over to take a roundabout road with a distance 5 times longer than before to get to their workplace.

Overnight construction efforts to bring the project to completion
The broken incident at Duy Phuoc bridge at the end of October not only caused local traffic paralysis but also directly affected the lives of people in a whole region. Da Nang City Department of Construction has issued an emergency construction order with a total investment of 3 billion VND. This is a great effort of the city government to ensure safety and essential travel needs for people during the rainy and storm season.
To have the smooth bridge span as it is now, construction units have had to mobilize maximum manpower and machinery, working day and night without rest. A 30m long steel bridge span has been urgently installed, extending from the current bridge abutment to overcome the most serious erosion point. Solid steel girders replacing the concrete section have been swept away by floodwaters, creating a safe path for motorbikes and cars weighing 2.5 tons or less.

Early putting the steel bridge span into use not only solves the immediate travel needs but also has important significance in stabilizing daily life, helping people prepare to welcome a new Spring that is more peaceful and complete.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
