The above accident occurred at 10:00 p.m. on November 4 on National Highway 20 through Bao Loc Pass in Da Huoai 2 Commune (Lam Dong).

At the above time, a container truck with license plate 50H - 455.80 driven by driver Vo Van Thanh (address unknown) was traveling on National Highway 20 in the direction from Da Lat to Ho Chi Minh City.
When reaching Bao Loc Pass through km99, the lost container truck drifted freely for about 30m. The vehicle then crossed the left lane, hitting a truck with license plate 49C - 170.25 driven by driver Cao Huu Chien (26 years old, residing in Gia Lai province) traveling in the opposite direction on Bao Loc Pass.

The direct head-on collision caused the cabins of both vehicles to be crushed and deformed. Mr. Chien (a truck driver) was trapped in the cabin. The accident caused the container to overturn onto the road, the truck was blocked in both directions on Bao Loc Pass.
At the time of the accident, there was a crane traveling behind the truck. After that, a crane promptly helped people on the way to break the door to rescue the truck driver trapped in the cabin.

After more than 15 minutes of effort, everyone was able to get the truck driver out safely. Both drivers were taken to Da Huoai Medical Center for emergency treatment with minor injuries.

The accident paralyzed traffic on Bao Loc Pass for many hours, vehicles lined up waiting for many kilometers in both directions.
After the accident, the Traffic Police of Madaguoi Station under the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police and Da Huoai 2 Commune Police were present to regulate and divert traffic.

The authorities have conducted an investigation of the scene to serve the investigation and clarify the cause of the accident. Many cranes were mobilized to clear the scene of the accident.
After many efforts, at around 1:30 a.m. on November 5, the accident scene was cleared, and traffic on Bao Loc Pass returned smoothly.
