Gia Lai market caught fire at night, 86 kiosks burned

Gia Lai - The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire at 86 kiosks at Binh Duong market that occurred overnight, causing damage to many properties.

On November 5, the People's Committee of Binh Duong commune (Gia Lai province) quickly reported the fire of dozens of kiosks at Binh Duong market.

Previously, at around 10:45 p.m. on November 4, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoang (born in 1964, residing in Duong Lieu Tay village, Binh Duong commune) discovered a fire breaking out at the kiosks selling shoes and sandals in Binh Duong market, so he shouted to the people to put out the fire and report it to the authorities.

The commune police force quickly arrived at the scene to put out the fire. Immediately afterwards, 5 Fire Prevention and Rescue Teams with 70 officers, soldiers and 11 fire trucks were mobilized to participate in extinguishing the fire. At around 2:00 a.m. on November 5, the fire was completely controlled.

The fire damaged 86 kiosks of Binh Duong market, with a burned area of about 800 square meters. The fire did not cause any human or property damage, and is being counted.

Currently, the authorities are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire.
