According to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh Coastal Road project phase IIa, component 1 has a total length of more than 13km. Total investment of nearly 1,200 billion VND.
To date, the project has handed over about 11.8km of site, reaching about 88% of the total length of the route. The implemented volume has reached nearly 90% of the contract value. Many sections through Tu Nghia, Ve Giang, Long Phung and Mo Cay communes have basically completed site clearance work.
However, the section passing through Dong Son and An Phu communes still has many obstacles, so the compensation, support and resettlement plan cannot be completed. The reason is that many households have not agreed to receive money or have not completed legal documents related to land. Some resettlement areas have not yet completed procedures for changing land use purposes and determining land prices to arrange for people.
The Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road project phase IIb is over 16km long. Total investment of 900 billion VND. Currently, 100% of the site has been handed over in the sections passing through Mo Cay and Lan Phong communes. To date, the project implementation value has reached more than 550 billion VND, equivalent to more than 79% of the contract value.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang - Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee requested the investor and departments, branches, and localities to make more efforts in coordinating, removing difficulties, and definitively handling obstacles related to compensation and site clearance, especially in Dong Son and An Phu communes.
The Provincial Land Fund Development Center and localities urgently develop compensation, support, and resettlement plans; be ready to deploy immediately when there is a decision on land prices and adjustment coefficients. Complete land valuation, fully prepare construction protection plans to create a basis for mobilizing people to hand over land.
Strengthen dialogue and propaganda to create high consensus among the people. The locations that have clean ground must focus manpower and equipment to organize continuous construction, striving to complete the main items in this dry season.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang also surveyed the site of the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh Coastal Road phase III. This is a section of road being prepared for investment and construction with a length of nearly 40km, connecting the entire coastal route to the south of the province.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang requested relevant units to urgently review the route direction, update investment plans, prepare resettlement land funds and complete the necessary procedures to soon implement the project in the near future.
