On September 5, Lien Khuong International Airport (HKQT) issued a notice of a plan to gradually stop broadcasting at the passenger terminal to reduce noise and improve service quality.

Accordingly, from October 1, 2026, Lien Khuong airport will temporarily stop broadcasting content inviting passengers to check in, inviting them to the departure gate (boarding) and notices looking for regular passengers.
By 5:00 AM on November 1, 2026, Lien Khuong International Airport will officially stop all broadcasting activities to serve regular passengers at the terminal.
The broadcasting system is only maintained in emergencies, fire prevention and fighting, aviation security and safety according to regulations.
To make the conversion smooth, Lien Khuong International Airport requests airlines to proactively notify passengers in advance of the new regulations through ticket booking channels, SMS messages, Zalo, email or mobile applications.

Passengers are advised to proactively monitor flight status on the flight information display screen (FIDS) system at the terminal and be present at the departure gate on time.
Airlines are also requested to arrange ground personnel to support, control and remind passengers at check-in areas and isolation lounges.
The cessation of broadcasting is implemented by Lien Khuong International Airport according to a roadmap, aiming to reduce noise in the terminal, and at the same time raise passengers' proactive awareness in updating flight information.
