On the afternoon of February 24, after the body of victim Nguyen Thanh T (born in 2002) was taken from a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Thuan, the Investigation Police Agency of Ham Thuan Bac District Police, Binh Thuan Province, requested an autopsy to consolidate the case file of a serious accident.
As Lao Dong reported, the accident occurred at around 3:00 p.m. on February 23 on National Highway 28, km6 + 800, through Ham Chinh Commune, Ham Thuan Bac District, Binh Thuan Province, and was recorded by a local camera.
At that time, the motorbike with license plate 86H6-9307 driven by Dinh Van A (born in 1990) and Vo Van S (born in 1994, both residing in Phan Thiet city) was traveling from Lam Dong to Phan Thiet. When arriving at the above location, it collided head-on with a motorbike with license plate 86B3-652.92 driven by Nguyen Thanh T (born in 2002, residing in Ham Thuan Bac District) traveling in the opposite direction.
The collision caused Mr. S to die on the way to the hospital. The remaining 2 people are in critical condition and are being treated. At noon on February 24, Mr. T died after nearly 24 hours of treatment and was transferred to Ho Chi Minh City.
Currently, the accident has killed 2 people, and 1 person is in critical condition and is still being treated.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.
