Tan Phong Bridge crosses Tan Phong Islet connecting Dong Hoa Hiep Commune (Cai Be District, Tien Giang Province) and Tan Phong (Cai Lay District, Tien Giang Province). The project has a total investment of more than 239 billion VND. Of which, the construction cost is more than 137 billion VND.
According to the design, the main bridge has a length of more than 359 m, including 9 beats; 9 m wide bridge, static boats do not stand 7 m, static not horizontal 30 m; Design load HL93. The road to the bridge is longer than 1,400 m; The design load of 10 tons axis. The width of the road surface is 7 m, the width of the road is 9 m. The section adjacent to the width of the road surface is 8 m, the road is 9 m wide by the bridge width. The structure of the road surface is asphalted on the nails to grant shavings; Arranging lighting systems on bridges and roads to the bridge, traffic safety system.
The completion and use of Tan Phong Bridge will help Tan Phong Commune (Cai Lay District) eliminate the situation of coastal communes, connecting road traffic with the mainland to complete traffic infrastructure.
