The Traffic Police Department recommends traffic participants when moving on highways:
Proactively check and ensure that the non-stop electronic toll collection (ETC) account still has enough balance before circulation.
Keep a safe distance, observe from a distance and adjust the speed appropriately to vehicle traffic and weather conditions (especially when it is drizzling and the road surface is slippery).
Drive in the correct lane; turn on the signal early when changing lanes, do not change direction suddenly.
Do not stop or park in the running lane; only stop in the emergency lane when encountering problems and place warnings according to regulations.
Limit sudden braking; pay attention to electronic signs and instructions from traffic police forces.
Check the vehicle before entering the highway (tire, brakes, fuel, traffic light...).
The Traffic Police force also recommends that when encountering problems or needing support on the highway, people contact Hotline: 1900. 8099 for timely guidance.
