On the afternoon of September 10, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee Nguyen Van Hoa chaired a meeting to review the registration and preparation of the List of works and projects to start construction and inaugurate to celebrate the 1st Can Tho City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Through the review of the city's departments and branches, many projects and works are eligible to start construction and be inaugurated to celebrate the Can Tho City Party Congress.
Accordingly, projects and works eligible for construction include: National Highway 91 Upgrade and Expansion Project (section from km0-km7), Can Tho City; Investment and construction project to replace some weak bridges on provincial and provincial routes in Soc Trang province; route and Ba Lang bridge connecting Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park; developing green urban areas to adapt to climate change in Nga Bay City, Hau Giang Province; Resettlement area of Ward IV, Vi Thanh City, Hau Giang Province; Dong Phu 4 Resettlement Area; Resettlement area of Cai Tac Town, Chau Thanh A District, Hau Giang Province; road from Y-shaped bridge to Van Kiet Street, Ward 2, Soc Trang City, Soc Trang Province...
Projects and works eligible for inauguration include: Construction of a model for providing mechanical services in agriculture; Emergency embankment to prevent landslides on Cai San canal (North bank of Cai San canal, section from the border of An Giang province to Duong Xuong canal), Vinh Trinh commune, Vinh Thanh district; Construction of the O Mon District Conference Center; Resettlement area serving Vinh Thanh District Industrial Park (phase 1); Mai Dam resettlement area; Tan Hoa resettlement area; Tan Phu Thanh resettlement area, Tan Phu Thanh commune; New construction of My Xuyen District Medical Center, Soc Trang province; Oanh Giang Westfood Joint Stock Company's non-budgetary investment project...
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee agreed to simultaneously organize the groundbreaking and inauguration of qualified projects scheduled for September 22 to celebrate the 1st Congress of Can Tho City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
Of which, 13 projects with an investment scale of over 100 billion VND held groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies in person and online; 5 projects with a scale of under 100 billion VND held groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies.
The Vice Chairman of Can Tho City requested the Department of Finance to promptly compile and complete the list of projects and works to submit to the Standing Committee of the City People's Committee for decision. In addition, departments and branches have prepared 2 projects to register to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party.
