On the afternoon of November 10, the Hanoi Department of Construction announced the adjustment of traffic organization at the Xuan Dieu - Au Co intersection (Tay Ho ward) to reduce congestion and ensure safety for people and vehicles.
Accordingly, from November 14, 2025, vehicles traveling from Xuan Dieu will not be allowed to turn left to Au Co towards Nhat Tan bridge. Instead, vehicles that need to go in this direction must turn right from Xuan Dieu to Au Co, then turn around at the Au Co - Nghi Tam intersection.
Along with that, the city will add warning signs of "slowing down" near the intersection to ensure safety for pedestrians; install signs prohibiting stopping and parking in both directions on Xuan Dieu section (from Quang An to Au Co) to limit congestion.
Functional units are assigned to synchronously deploy solutions such as adjusting traffic lights, paint lines, and directional signs, while increasing propaganda and guidance for people through the press and radio transportation system. Hanoi City Police coordinated to direct traffic and handle violations, while Tay Ho Ward People's Committee was responsible for inspecting and handling the situation of encroachment on roads, sidewalks and illegal parking in the area.
The adjustment measure will be piloted from November 14, 2025 and will be assessed and adjusted further depending on the actual traffic situation.
