At noon on February 7, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, at Km179 passing through Luong Son commune, Lam Dong province, a chain collision occurred between 4 cars in traffic.
The accident location is on the South-North direction, near the National Highway 28B intersection.
After the collision, the vehicles stopped at the scene, occupying part of the traffic lane. Among the cars involved in the accident, a car with license plate 72A-933. xx was heavily damaged in the rear of the car.
Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police force of Highway Patrol and Control Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) coordinated with the unit managing and operating the route to quickly arrive at the scene.
Functional forces proceed to place long-range warning signs, divert traffic and regulate traffic to limit congestion.
At the time of the collision, the traffic volume on the highway increased due to people moving back to their hometowns for Tet holidays. After completing the handling, the damaged vehicles were towed away from the scene, and traffic on the route was reopened.
