Lam Dong - After completing reinforcement and repair of damage caused by floods, Don Duong bridge on National Highway 27 has allowed trucks with a tonnage of 20 tons or more to circulate again.

On June 7, the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that the unit has agreed to allow vehicles with a tonnage of 20 tons or more to circulate again across the bridge.

The decision was made after the Lam Dong Road Maintenance Management Board completed the reinforcement of the abutment foundation and bridge piers affected by erosion due to floods in 2025.

The Department of Construction of Lam Dong province said that traffic restoration is carried out based on the results of inspection, quality assessment and exploitation capacity of the project after repair.

This notice also replaces Notice No. 465/TB-SXD dated December 2, 2025 on traffic diversion in the Don Duong bridge area.

Functional agencies also requested the Lam Dong Road Maintenance Management Board to remove temporary traffic diversion signs that had been installed before; and at the same time widely inform people, businesses and transport units to facilitate travel and transportation of goods on National Highway 27.

Previously, at the end of 2025, heavy rain caused landslides in the Don Duong bridge area, directly affecting the structure of the project. To ensure traffic safety, from December 4, 2025, vehicles with a tonnage of over 20 tons were banned from traveling through the bridge.
