On the evening of April 13, Nam Gia Nghia Ward Police (Lam Dong) said that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, causing a truck to be heavily damaged and 2 people injured.
Previously, in the afternoon of the same day, at Km 1906+500 of the Ho Chi Minh road, passing through residential group 6 Nghia Phu, Nam Gia Nghia ward, a traffic accident occurred.
According to initial information, the truck with license plate 48C-098. 40, driven by Mr. Tran Dang Tai (57 years old, residing in Kien Thanh commune, Lam Dong province), was traveling in the direction from Nam Gia Nghia ward to Nhan Co commune. Ms. Le Thi Quyen (56 years old, also residing in Kien Thanh commune) was also in the car.
When arriving at the above location, the truck suddenly collided with the right median strip in the direction of movement, then rushed forward, knocked down an ancient green tree and a light pole and then overturned onto the road.
The accident caused Mr. Tai and Ms. Quyen to be seriously injured and taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The truck was shattered, the cabin, cargo box and body were separated, deformed, and heavily damaged.
After the accident occurred, functional forces were present at the scene to regulate traffic, and at the same time examine the scene and investigate the cause of the incident.
Currently, the cause of the accident is being further clarified by functional agencies.
