This year, the 2026 National Women's Club Golf Championship is expected to attract about 180 female golfers nationwide to compete. The competition program is held from June 19 to June 21.
At the tournament, teams will compete in Fourballs matches followed by Singles Matches. This year's tournament is pressured by the Match Play format that does not use Handicap.
Each confrontation between teams will have 9 matches that determine the final score, including 3 Fourballs matches and 6 Singles Matches.
The team with the highest total score after the competition days will be awarded the championship cup.
According to the schedule, June 19th is the time for golfers to get acquainted with the field. June 20th and 21st are official competition days. The National Women's Club Golf Championship is a playground for amateur female golfers nationwide.
Born in 2013, to date, the tournament organized by the Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) and accompanying units has created a competition of professional value.
2024 is the time when the tournament is developed more deeply when there is a separate playground for golfers from clubs across the country.
According to the Organizing Committee, 4 teams with outstanding achievements in the most recent season, including the Northern Women's Lawyer Golf Club, Hanoi Women's Golf Club (Queen Club), the Women's Golf Club under the Hai Phong Golf Association, and the Nguyen Thang Long Family Women's Golf Club, were awarded special slots to participate in this year's tournament.
However, the Northern Women's Lawyers Golf Club team is likely to be absent from this year's tournament. Last year, this team won the championship.
