June 5 is the last day of competition of the Viet - Sing Junior Cup 2026 youth golf tournament taking place at Long Bien golf course (Hanoi).
Closing the last day, Vietnamese golfers completed the final result, winning with a score of 21-3 to overcome the Singaporeese youth golf team and win the championship cup at home.
Before entering the final day, the Vietnamese Youth Golf Team temporarily led their opponents with a score of 11-1 in the Four-ball and Foursomes matches. The final match was a 12-match Singles Match.
In this match, young face Doan Dan Thanh was the starter in the first Single Match. The golfer of the home team made efforts but still let golfer Avelyn Tan (Singapore) overcome with a score of 3&2.
Continuing this match, Bui To Uyen regained the spirit for her teammates when she won with a score of 4&3 against Zara Emelyn (Singapore). Also in the Single Match, Le Chuc An played the 17th match and had a score of 4&3 against Chloe Ng of the opposing team.
The victory helped the Vietnamese Youth Golf Team increase the score to 13-2 in the overall result.
With such a gap, Vietnamese golfers are sure to win without waiting for the results of the next matches.
However, in the final rounds, Vietnamese golfers still maintained their advantage to have more victories and complete the final score of 21-3. This year is the first time the Viet - Sing Junior Cup youth golf tournament has been held.
The Vietnamese youth golf team has registered 18 golfers to participate including: Le Chuc An, Nguyen Vu Hoang Anh and Than Bao Nghi (U19 women's), Nguyen Quoc Bao Huy, Pham The Nam, Tran The Bao (U19 men's), Nguyen Viet Gia Han, Nguyen Bao Chau, Nguyen Phuong Duong Anh (U16 women's), Nguyen Bao Phat, Nguyen Trong Hoang, Nguyen Van Hoa (U16 men's), Doan Dan Thanh, Nguyen Khanh Linh, Bui To Uyen (U13 women's), Pham Minh Hai, Le Nhat Binh, Luu Minh Duc (U13 men's).
