Nguyen Anh Minh is expected to enroll at Oregon State University (USA) in September. The homepage of this university has announced the list of men's golf teams for the 2025-2026 season with the participation of Nguyen Anh Minh.
In addition to Anh Minh, the Oregon State University golf team also has the faces of Ethan Elleraas, collin Hodgkinson, Antoine Jasmin, Rylan Johnson, Stanley Lin, Bradley Smolinski.
Mr. Minh has participated in a number of tournaments in the US in recent times. In which, the Vietnamese golfer won the runner-up position for the first time at the 2025 US National Amateur Championship (U.S. Junior Amateur Championship 2025).
On the world amateur men's golf rankings, Nguyen Anh Minh has dropped to 39th place due to not competing in the tournament recently.
At the end of August, Channel Golf channel predicted that the faces that could impress the 2025-2026 US University Golf Tournament include Nguyen Anh Minh (Oregon State), Kihei Akina (BYU), Michael Riebe (Vanderbilt), Log Reilly (Auburn) and Henry Guan (Oklahoma State).
Currently, the Vietnam Golf Team is planning to send Nguyen Anh Minh to attend the 2025 Asian Youth Sports Festival in Bahrain in October. Therefore, this golfer will have to arrange reasonable time to compete and not affect his study period at a university in the US.
Mr. Minh is still considered the best professional among Vietnamese male golfers at the moment.
