The professional department of the Vietnam Golf Association has announced the national tournament organization system for 2026 with more than 10 professional tournaments, 7 amateur tournaments and 6 youth tournaments. The information was provided by VGA at a professional working session on January 15.
This year, the focus of the professional tournament for golfers nationwide will be the X-2026 National Sports Games. The golf program of the Games will take place in November in Ho Chi Minh City with 4 competition categories: men's individual, women's individual, men's team, women's team.
In addition, professional tournaments of 2026 are organized in rounds according to VGA Tour and VGA Development Tour.
The Vietnam Golf Association will organize 3 key tournaments of this year's VGA Tour system. Along with that, the Vietnam Masters professional tournament will continue to take place, and belongs to the Asian Development Tour system.
With amateur tournaments, VGA will successively organize VGA Union Cup, Vietnam Amateur Open (VLAO), Vietnam Mid Amateur Championship, Vietnam Club Championship, Vietnam Match Play Championship...
The Vietnam Golf Association focuses on organizing youth tournaments, creating conditions for golfers to have the opportunity to compete and develop their expertise. The first youth tournament of the year will be VGA Junior Tour stage 1 organized in March. Next, the tournaments will take place until December. The VGA Junior Tour 2026 final stage is expected to take place from December 26 to 27.
In the tournaments that have been planned for organization, many famous Vietnamese golfers will have the opportunity to compete, bringing the attention of golf fans nationwide.
