The VGA Union Cup 2026 team golf competition is expected to be held from March 12 to March 14 at Thanh Lanh golf course (Phu Tho).
In 2023, the VGA Union Cup was scheduled to be held, but was postponed indefinitely for some reasons. Now, the tournament is being re-organized to be a professional playground for golfers who used to be the Southern and Northern Teams.
Up to this point, the tournament has taken place 5 times in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. The Southern and Northern golf teams have competed through the above tournaments. Currently, the Southern golf team holds a 3-2 lead over the Northern team.
Preparing for VGA Union Cup 2026, the Northern Golf Team has announced the list of 16 golfers to participate in the tournament. Among them, 12 are officially registered, 4 are reserve golfers. The Northern Golf Team selected golfer Duong Manh Tien as captain and 2 vice-captains are golfers Tran The Cuong, Bui Manh Cuong.
The registered lineup of the Northern Golf Team for this tournament includes Le Hung Nam, Do Anh Duc, Ha Ngoc Hoang Loc, Nguyen Minh Tuan, Nguyen Quoc Men, Doan Van Nam, Do Quang Khanh, Nguyen Viet Dung, Luu Dinh Hung, Pham Minh Phong, Tran Dieu Tuan, Au Van Son, Nguyen Xuan Hong, Nguyen Van Long, Pham Van Du, Nguyen The Anh.
In the near future, the Southern Golf Team will announce the list of registered players for the VGA Union Cup 2026 tournament.
