According to information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, by the end of September 2025, all 103 communes and wards in the area had completed the 1st Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of communes and wards, term 2025 - 2030.
According to the assessment, the units have proactively developed plans and implemented them on schedule; seriously, systematically prepared congress documents and documents; the organization process ensures principles, democracy, and science. Personnel work has been carried out closely, with the approval of the Party Committee, the bargaining rate reached 100%.
The Congress elected 5,862 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level, of which 103 Chairmen are members of the Standing Committee, with 1 Party Committee Secretary and 102 Deputy Party Committee Secretaries participating as members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; at the same time, 103 official delegates and 103 absent delegates were introduced to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Can Tho City, term 2025 - 2030 (expected to be held in early November 2025).
The congresses of communes and wards also clearly identified the direction, goals, and action programs for the new term, emphasizing the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in consolidating the great national unity bloc, caring for people's lives, supervising, giving social criticism and contributing to building a strong Party and government.
