According to the plan of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province from February 2 - 8, the Front system and member organizations focused on implementing many key contents, in which Tet care and election preparation are identified as a continuous task.
Election work was deployed methodically with the organization of the second consultation conference, agreeing to make a preliminary list of candidates for the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels, term 2026 – 2031, ensuring democracy and compliance with the law.
At the same time, professional departments prepare sufficient content and documents to serve the inspection team of the Central Front on election work, contributing to ensuring progress, quality and unity throughout the Front system.
In the field of Tet care, the plan to visit and wish Tet to organizations and individuals who have made many contributions to activities for the poor and social security is implemented synchronously, thereby spreading the spirit of sharing during the Binh Ngo Spring.
The meeting of overseas Vietnamese, relatives of overseas Vietnamese and non-governmental organizations to celebrate Binh Ngo Spring 2026 was carefully prepared, contributing to consolidating the great national unity bloc and strengthening the connection of social resources for the locality.
Organization and personnel work continues to be reviewed and consolidated by departments; focusing on building a list of job positions, descriptions, capacity frameworks and implementing salary scales for contract workers according to Government regulations.
Working committees promote the updating of organizational and personnel data on the common system of the Fatherland Front; and at the same time coordinate to implement solutions to ensure information security and prevent malware for all computers of agency officials and civil servants.
Many Tet care activities were deployed simultaneously such as "Trade Union New Year's Eve Meal", giving gifts to poor farmer members, "Volunteer Spring", "Border Spring - Island Tet", "Military - People's Tet" programs, with profound humanistic meaning.
