On May 16, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Tan commune, Lam Dong province said that it had visited, encouraged and provided support to the family of the man who died while participating in extinguishing a fire in the area.
The victim is Mr. D. H. H. N. V (born 1976, residing in Da Mai 2 village, Ham Tan commune).
According to initial information, while working in the locality, Mr. V discovered a large fire, so he joined the people in extinguishing the fire.
During the firefighting process, thick smoke appeared in the fire area. Mr. V suffered from shortness of breath and died afterwards.

Local authorities said that Mr. V's family is in particularly difficult circumstances, belonging to the poor household category of the commune. His wife passed away about 6 years ago, and he alone raises 2 young children.
Among them, the eldest child, 18 years old, is working as a worker at a garment company, and the other child is currently in 2nd grade. The family is living in a house of gratitude built with the support of local organizations.

Faced with the victim's family's circumstances, people and local authorities have donated to support the funeral arrangements for Mr. V.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Tan commune directly visited, expressed condolences and provided support to the victim's family.
At the same time, he encouraged the victim's 2 children to try to overcome their sadness and rise up in life.
