On August 20, the An Giang Provincial Women's Union held a conference of the Provincial Women's Union Executive Committee (expanded).
The conference approved a summary of the Guidelines for preparing to organize the Commune-level Women's Congress for the 2025-2030 term; Presenting a summary of the Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union and Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).
In addition, a Plan has been implemented to organize propaganda activities for Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party; a Plan to inspect and supervise the activities of the Commune-level Women's Union in 2025.
The conference also noted many contributions and proposals, advantages, difficulties and problems of the Women's Union at the commune and special zone levels after the reorganization.
Ms. Truong Thanh Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union said: In addition to the conference program, the Union also coordinated with Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank to sign a cooperation agreement.
This program aims to implement the province's socio-economic development policies and Projects to support women in starting a business, creating jobs, and enhancing economic power. The goal is to create conditions for members and women to access legitimate and safe loans, serving production and business development, startups and gradually improving their lives.
