Completing 475 Great Solidarity houses, Dak Lak deploys 300 more houses for poor households

Dak Lak has completed the construction of 475 Great Solidarity houses for poor households, and continues to launch the program to build 300 new houses for poor households.

On July 20, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province organized a conference to summarize the program to support the construction of 475 Great Solidarity houses supported by Dong Nai city and businesses. At the same time, launched a program to build an additional 300 Great Solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households.

According to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, from the 38 billion VND funding supported by Dong Nai city and 8 businesses, combined with local counterpart funds, Dak Lak province has completed 475 Great Solidarity houses for poor households in 99 communes and wards in the area.

Continuing this result, the province launched a program to build 300 Great Solidarity houses from support funds donated by General Secretary and President To Lam to help poor and near-poor households still facing housing difficulties to soon stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province, highly appreciated the companionship of Dong Nai city, businesses and sponsors in social security work.

According to him, supporting the construction of Great Solidarity houses not only helps people settle down but also creates motivation for economic development, gradually rising out of sustainable poverty.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Lak province presented a thank-you letter to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai city and accompanying businesses; and at the same time rewarded 13 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in supporting the construction of Great Solidarity Houses.
