The ranking of "Top 50 most effective companies in Vietnam" has been conducted annually since 2011 by the Investment Rapid Magazine and Thien Viet Securities Company to objectively assess the management capacity of the enterprise.
This year is the first year that GELEX Electric has been in this ranking. Currently, GELEX Electric manages 8 subsidiaries, manufacturing and supplying a complete product line in the value chain of the electricity industry from transmission to distribution and civil. Among them, many national brands have the No. 1 market share in Vietnam such as: CADIVI electric cables, THIBIDI transformers, EMIC electrical measuring devices.
For the past 3 consecutive years, GELEX Electric has achieved remarkable business results in the context of a challenging macroeconomic environment.
In the first 9 months of 2024, this unit has grown with impressive results. Net revenue reached VND14,648 billion. Pre-tax profit reached VND1,350 billion, up 70% over the same period and exceeding the annual plan by 16%.
In its development strategy, GELEX Electric directs member units to promote the production of gray, environmentally friendly electrical equipment products for smart grid; orients cooperation in research and development of new high-tech products such as: fire prevention products, security equipment, monitoring, etc.
The company also strives to build a transparent governance model, with the goal of effective business, bringing value to shareholders and spreading benefits to employees and the community.
The Top 50 most effective companies in Vietnam 2024 also has the participation of Viglacera Corporation - JSC. According to the award organizing committee, on average in the 3 years from 2021-2023, Viglacera has recorded impressive figures: the dual growth rate (SR-CAGR) reached 12.0%, return on equity (ROE) reached 19.0% and return on stock (Stock return) reached 137.0%. This is achieved thanks to breakthrough business initiatives and strong investment in product and service quality, Viglacera has continuously created outstanding values, meeting the increasing demands of the market.
Along with that, Viglacera is also honored to be named in the category of "Outstanding Real Estate 2024" for projects that have created new standards for living space in Vietnam.
