The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on asking for opinions from members of the Provincial People's Committee on adding industries to attract investment in the following industrial parks: Nam Son - hap Linh; Viet Han, Yen Phong II-A.
The official dispatch sent to members of the Provincial People's Committee stated that the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board has Submissions on adding industries to attract investment in Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park; Nam Son - hap Linh Industrial Park and Viet Han Industrial Park.
The Office of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province would like to give opinions to members of the Provincial People's Committee on the above content as a basis for submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
According to the reporter's investigation, the above 3 IPs are all 3 large-scale IPs in Bac Ninh.
Nam Son-Hap Linh Industrial Park was established in 2007 with a total planned area of 1,000 hectares; of which the industrial park is 800 hectares, the urban area is 200 hectares. The investor is Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation.
Yen Phong II-A Industrial Park was established in 2021, with an area of: 151.27ha. Investor: Western Pacific Infrastructure Joint Stock Company. The project has a total investment capital of VND 1,830.168 billion.
Viet Han Industrial Park has a planned area of: 197.31 hectares (of which Viet Han Industrial Park is 50 hectares; Viet Han Industrial Park is expanded to 147.31 hectares), invested by Fuji Phuc Long Development Company Limited.
After the merger, Bac Ninh has 33 industrial parks with a total area of over 10,100 hectares, with an occupancy rate of about 56%.
Industrial parks play a key role in Bac Ninh's economy by attracting large investment capital, creating jobs for workers, and promoting economic growth.
In the first 7 months of 2025, Bac Ninh province attracted 9.9 billion USD of domestic investment capital and 3.9 billion USD of FDI capital.
Notably, with a turnover of nearly 8.68 billion USD, Bac Ninh unexpectedly surpassed Ho Chi Minh City to rise to become the locality with the highest export turnover in the country in July 2025, according to data from the Customs Department.
