At the conference to summarize the work in 2025 and deploy tasks for 2026 organized by Da Nang City People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade said that in 2026, the Industry and Trade sector clearly identified the field of industrial production - commercial services - logistics as three key pillars, capable of creating rapid growth and strong spillover effects.
These three pillars directly and sustainably contribute to the GRDP growth of the city, contributing to achieving the city's double-digit economic growth target in 2026 and the period 2026 - 2030.
For the field of industrial production, in addition to coordinating with relevant units to promote infrastructure completion in industrial parks, high-tech zones, and economic zones to create conditions to attract large manufacturing enterprises to invest in the city, the Department of Industry and Trade will develop industrial clusters to create production space for small and micro enterprises - a force accounting for more than 90% of the total number of enterprises in the city.
Focus on developing processing and manufacturing industries, supporting industries and deep processing - considering this a breakthrough to improve added value and growth.
Research and promote the formation of clean electricity and renewable energy power projects to provide green, quality, and stable power sources to serve the production activities of businesses in free trade zones, industrial parks, high-tech zones, and economic zones; serve data centers to meet the green transformation needs of investors.
In parallel with the development of industrial production, trade plays a particularly important role in connecting production with the market, promoting consumption, expanding exports and improving the competitiveness of the city's economy.
In terms of logistics, Da Nang has an important position to become a national and regional logistics center, a trading hub, a sea gateway of the East-West Economic Corridor connecting with the East Sea - Pacific, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and Indian Ocean. At the same time, it has many favorable conditions to form a green logistics core and logistics serving e-commerce.
Promoting the effectiveness of this role is an important lever to reduce logistics costs, improve competitiveness and attract investment for Da Nang city.
