This is a positive result from a special initiative of ABBANK called "Journey of a Thousand miles - Coming to a Thousand Dries". The initiative calls on ABBANK staff to contribute to the charity fund to the community by building a habit of practicing sports and improving the health of themselves and their families.
Officially launched in September 2024, after just over 3 months of implementation, the campaign "Journey of a Thousand kilometers - Upon a Thousand Dreams" has successfully completed the dual goal: Successfully raising a fund of 1 billion VND, bringing sustainable practical value to the community, while promoting a positive corporate culture, creating a professional, healthy and cohesive working environment.
The campaign attracted the continuous participation and spread strongly by nearly 1,300 ABBANK employees nationwide with nearly 190,000km conquered and more than 23,000 hours of training recorded through running, swimming, and cycling activities.
Immediately after completing the fundraising goal, ABBANK quickly coordinated with the Vietnam Children's Support Fund (BTTTEVN Fund) and the Ministry of Health to start construction of boarding houses and auxiliary works for Nong Hoi Duoi School, Chieng An Primary and Secondary School, Muong La District, Son La Province. At the end of April 2025, the project was completed and officially inaugurated and put into use, helping nearly 200 students have a warmer, safer, more hygienic and convenient place to live.

At the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration ceremony, a total of 50 gifts including backpacks, uniforms and cash scholarships were presented by ABBANK to poor students overcoming difficulties. In addition, ABBANK also donated 01 water purifier to the school, helping teachers and students have more clean water, contributing to protecting their health to continue teaching, learning and practicing.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Dam - Principal of Chieng An Primary and Secondary School - expressed: "Support from ABBANK is a meaningful and practical gift, not only helping to improve learning and living conditions but also showing sharing and love for students in disadvantaged areas. The new boarding house and auxiliary works will contribute to improving the quality of care and nurturing students, helping them feel secure in studying and practicing in a better environment".
