On May 22, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced that the local 2025 Investment Promotion Conference is scheduled to be held on May 30, in Ho Tram, Xuyen Moc district.
Through the Investment Promotion Conference, Ba Ria - Vung Tau will directly introduce the list of investment promotion projects in 2025, projects expected to attract investment in the 2025-2030 period... to agencies, organizations, associations, businesses and investors attending; to the business community and people through mass media.
At the same time, introduce projects using public investment capital, prioritizing the focus of resources for the urban development program of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.
This is also an opportunity to award investment policy decisions, investment registration certificates to domestic and foreign investors; organize the signing of memorandums of understanding (MOU) on investment cooperation.
The event will be implemented to ensure solemn, economical and effective organization in accordance with the State's regulations, with the participation of about 400 delegates including government leaders, ministries, central branches and other provinces and cities in the Southeast region; provincial leaders and departments, agencies and localities; Representatives of diplomatic agencies, associations and many businesses and investors at home and abroad.
Through the conference, Ba Ria - Vung Tau hopes to contribute to promoting socio-economic development and enhancing the position of the locality in the coming time.
The list of projects calling for investment in the 2024-2030 period of Ba Ria - Vung Tau has identified 92 key projects to call for investment, focusing on key economic groups.
Of which, there are 21 projects in the industrial sector group; 6 projects in the seaport - logistics sector group; 23 projects in the tourism sector group; 36 projects in the service - urban development - housing sector...; 4 projects in the transport infrastructure sector; and 2 projects in high-tech agricultural development.
