Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province Nguyen Viet Oanh said that in recent years, Bac Giang has always been a province with impressive economic growth rate, among the top in the country.
In 2025, the Government assigned Bac Giang province to grow the economy by 13.6%, leading the country.
To achieve the double-digit growth target, the province focuses on developing evenly in all three areas (industry, agriculture and services) to fully promote the potential and strengths of the locality.
Through the cooperation agreement, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Viet Oanh hopes that Vingroup will further promote coordination with Bac Giang province, take specific actions to complete the signed goals and will have many national-scale projects of the Group present in Bac Giang.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of Vingroup Corporation and President of VinFast Le Thi Thu Thuy emphasized that the signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement on green transformation with the People's Committee of Bac Giang province is an important content in order to promote cooperation between Bac Giang province and Vingroup Corporation.
According to the signing of the cooperation agreement, Vingroup Corporation coordinated with the People's Committee of Bac Giang province to establish a Green Transformation, Green Growth, and Sustainable Development Program for Bac Giang province for the period 2025-2030, including key areas: Green Tourism, Green Transport, Green Lifestyle.
To carry out Green Transformation in the transport sector, Vingroup Corporation in coordination with the People's Committee of Bac Giang province launched the movement "Dightening the spirit of Vietnam - For a Green Future", promoting the use of electric vehicles in the whole province, including: Buying and renting electric vehicles, using electric taxis and electric buses, especially in civil servants, public employees, businesses, and people.
The People's Committee of Bac Giang province studies and implements the plan to use electric buses in the province, ensuring compliance with conditions, actual situations and green energy conversion roadmap as prescribed in Decision No. 876/QD-TTg dated July 22, 2022 of the Prime Minister. Prioritize the use of high-quality Vietnamese goods, gradually promoting green tourism, green transportation and environmentally friendly transportation.
Vingroup Corporation researched and supported planning, introduced charging station installation locations; supported the province in researching and building a smart green transport management model in the area.
