On the afternoon of June 5, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee organized a program to award investment policy approval decisions and investor approvals for 2 wind power projects in the province with a total capacity of 160MW, total investment capital reaching more than 6,032 billion VND, including:
The SD Son Dong Wind Power Plant project invested by SD Dai Son Wind Power Joint Stock Company has a designed capacity of 105MW (including 21 turbines with a capacity of 5MW), the implementation location is in the communes: Son Dong, Van Son, Dai Son, Yen Dinh.
The total investment capital of the project is more than 3,926 billion VND. When completed, the project is expected to provide an average electricity output of about 242,550 MWh/year.
Bac Giang 2 Wind Power Plant project implemented by two investors including ENERTRAG SE (Federal Republic of Germany) and ENERTRAG Vietnam Co., Ltd. has a designed capacity of 55MW (including 9 turbines with capacity from 5.5 - 6.3MW), deployed in the communes: Tuan Dao, Duong Huu and Son Dong. Total investment capital reached 2,106 billion VND.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Thinh committed that the local government will provide maximum support to shorten the progress, towards the goal of putting the project into commercial production in 2027.
The province is ready to apply a flexible mechanism, supporting businesses to energize and accept according to each stage of completion, and at the same time affirming the advantage of Bac Ninh's on-site supply chain with full factories producing electrical equipment from transformers, electrical cables to high-tech electrical cabinets will help the project not be passive about materials.
Representing investors, Mr. Asdin Hassin, Head of Asian Market Representation of ENERTRAG SE Group, expressed his pleasure when receiving the Investment Policy Approval Decision for the Bac Giang 2 Wind Power Plant project after more than 5 years of preparation.
Appreciating the transparent investment environment and the dedicated support of the leaders of Bac Ninh province and departments and branches, Mr. Asdin Hassin affirmed that this is proof of good economic cooperation between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany.
The enterprise is committed to focusing resources to put the project into operation on schedule, and at the same time wishes to continue to expand investment in integrated technology solutions and advanced power storage in the locality.
