Large-scale power project in planning
On May 31, the Department of Industry and Trade of Gia Lai province said that the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the investor to implement the Chu Pong Wind Power Plant project in Bo Ngoong commune, with a total investment of more than 1,616 billion VND.
According to the decision, the joint venture includes ANI Power Joint Stock Company, Song Da 505 Joint Stock Company and Trang Duc Solar Power Joint Stock Company as investors to implement the Chu Pong Wind Power Plant project.
The total investment capital of the project is more than 1,616 billion VND, of which the contributed capital of investors is 330 billion VND, accounting for 20.4% of the total investment capital, the rest is mobilized from credit institutions.
According to the schedule, from June to November 2026, the project will carry out specialized procedures, compensation for site clearance, land allocation and land lease.
The project is expected to start construction in December 2026 and be completed and put into operation in February 2028. The project's operating term is 50 years from the date of land lease.

Ban on transfer and sale of electricity projects
Investors must ensure capital for project implementation, use equipment with clear origins, meeting technical standards and operating safety; coordinate with military units in the area to ensure that it does not affect national defense and security tasks in the region.
At the same time, project transfer is not allowed, transfer, purchase, sale, or transfer of ownership in any form, including shares or contributed capital in the project company/enterprise, unless there is written approval from a competent authority...
