The project is degraded and loss of aesthetics
The restaurant and yacht project south of Han River Port is located in the area opposite 36 Bach Dang (Hai Chau District) and is only a few dozen meters from the Da Nang City Administrative Center.
This project is built on a total area of 4,000m2, including 2,100m2 of land and 1,900m2 of water surface. Since the suspension of operations, the investor has used nets to block the entrances to the second floor to protect assets. However, outside the project, many items have seriously degraded, posing many potential safety risks.
Some power lines were exposed after the bricks and walls were damaged. The walls and stone edges are often painted in patchwork, causing loss of aesthetics for a project that was once assessed to have beautiful architecture.
The face facing the river of the project is also seriously damaged. This area was previously covered with wood as a place for visitors to see the Han River, but now the wood has peeled and damaged mostly. The ceiling of the second floor area of the building is damaged. The 3rd floor of the building is full of graffiti and waste. This degradation not only causes loss of urban beauty but also has the potential to unsafe people.
Mr. Van Toan - a service car driver who often stops near this area (character's name has been changed) - shared: "We often choose this place to rest and wait for customers. But seeing such a deserted yacht, it is heartbreaking. Such a beautiful location is a waste if left abandoned.
According to local people, the project has been abandoned for many years, seriously degraded, and looks very shabby. Therefore, they also hope that the city will soon reclaim and repair it to do something useful for the people.
Previously, in September 2018, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City agreed on the proposal of the consulting unit to keep the yacht and convert it to serve the community with an estimated recovery cost of 100 billion VND. However, up to now, the recovery has not been carried out, causing the project to continue to deteriorate and be wasteful, causing public outrage.
Accelerating the inspection, assessment and early issuance of a final decision on the fate of this yacht wharf is what the people of Da Nang city are looking forward to.

Speed up the progress of compensation inspection and assessment
The restaurant and yacht project south of Han Rivers port is located in a prime location on the Han River, invested by Phan Van Anh Vu's I.V.C Company Limited (aka Vu "alomean") with a total investment of nearly 100 billion VND.
The restaurant project was completed in 2017, but then stopped operating due to the case of Phan Van Anh Vu. Since 2018, Da Nang City has assigned relevant departments and branches to carefully study legal procedures to revoke the project, ensuring legal regulations. However, to date, the fate of the cruise port has not been decided.
By the beginning of May, implementing the official dispatch of the People's Committee of Da Nang City to implement the notice of the City People's Council on questioning and answering the question, the Department of Construction of Da Nang City had a written request to the People's Committee of Hai Chau District to preside and coordinate with I.V.C Co., Ltd (investor) and related units to inspect the project of restaurant and marina in the southern port of Han River port and expected the project's compensation value in case of the project to use in case of the project to use the project in case of the project to recover the project in case of use of the project.
According to the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, Hai Chau District is currently presiding over and implementing this work.
Along with the determination of compensation value, the Department of Construction has proposed I.V.C Co., Ltd. to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Hai Chau District to develop a plan to protect and manage works, and ensure the beauty of the regional urban area. Because the situation of the building is seriously degraded, affecting the landscape of the city.
