As of around 10am this morning (September 8), the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police (PCCC&CNCH) of Da Nang City Police were still urgently deploying measures to handle the fire that occurred at a fabric warehouse on Nguyen Dinh Tuu Street (Da Nang City).
Previously, at around 8:40 a.m. the same day, people living near the area discovered black smoke suspected of coming from the warehouse in a state of closure. Just a few minutes later, a fire suddenly broke out fiercely, engulfing the entire warehouse area, accompanied by a column of black smoke hundreds of meters high, which could be observed from a distance.
As soon as the information was received, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force quickly dispatched 6 specialized fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene. Because the warehouse was locked, the police were forced to use specialized equipment to break the door, urgently approach the fire area and deploy fire fighting.

Inside the warehouse, there was a large amount of flammable fabric, causing the fire to spread quickly, creating dense smoke, causing many obstacles for firefighting. Firefighting forces were forced to use non-poison masks, divide into many approach points, and spray water to cool down, isolate the fire, prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding area.
The local police also blocked a section of the road, restricting people from passing to carry out fire fighting work. After more than 1 hour, the fire was basically under control, but the smoke was still large, so the police continued to spray water to completely extinguish it. At the scene, many assets and equipment in the warehouse were burned down.
