Bamboo Airways has a tax notification address at No. 6 Tan Son (Ward 12, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City); head office address at Zone 4, Nhon Ly - Cat Tien beach tourist area (Nhon Ly Commune, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh).
According to the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department, Bamboo Airways is allowed to gradually pay its tax debt every month, from November 1, 2024 to October 31, 2025. Within 12 months, the tax debt that Bamboo Airways is allowed to gradually pay is 120 billion VND.
Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department has not yet implemented tax enforcement measures for the tax arrears paid in installments during the tax arrears payment period. Bamboo Airways must determine the monthly late payment amount to pay together with the tax arrears paid in installments, no later than the last day of the month.
If Bamboo Airways fails to pay or does not pay enough tax debt within the deadline for paying the tax debt each month, the guarantor organization shall be responsible for paying on behalf of the taxpayer within the scope of the guarantee.
Previously, on September 11, the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department sent a notice of temporary suspension of exit to Mr. Luong Hoai Nam - the legal representative of Bamboo Airways - a business that is being forced to execute an administrative decision on tax management, has not yet fulfilled its tax payment obligations, the tax debt as of the end of September is 304 billion VND.
Recently, in mid-October 2024, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan chaired a meeting to discuss solutions to remove difficulties for Bamboo Airways.
At the meeting, a representative of Bamboo Airways said that the Provincial Tax Department's application of coercive measures and the announcement of temporary suspension of exit were completely in accordance with the law.
However, currently, businesses are trying to restructure their organizations and business operations. Applying the measure of temporarily suspending the exit of representatives will cause great difficulties for businesses in finding partners, raising capital and signing contracts.
From there, the enterprise hopes that the province will allow it to gradually pay the tax and commit to having a bank guarantee letter. At the same time, it requests that the provincial Tax Department not apply the measure of temporarily suspending the exit of the enterprise's legal representative.
On October 16, the Binh Dinh Provincial Tax Department sent a document to the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Public Security announcing the cancellation of the temporary exit suspension for Bamboo Airways General Director Luong Hoai Nam.
Reason for canceling the temporary suspension of exit: Mr. Luong Hoai Nam, the legal representative of Tre Viet Aviation Joint Stock Company, has submitted the application for gradual payment of tax arrears, according to the guarantee certificate number of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Hanoi Branch.
