According to the latest information from the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, after a day of launching a campaign to support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has raised nearly 1 billion VND. The donation is still being received by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to send to the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Previously, responding to the call of the Party, State, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to mobilize support for people to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods, in the spirit of "mutual love", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a launching ceremony to donate to support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
Attending and speaking at the launching ceremony, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien said that, towards the people of the Central region and the people of the northern provinces who are heavily affected by natural disasters, implementing the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has promptly organized a launching ceremony to collect and support.
Minister Nguyen Hong Dien requested each agency and unit under the Ministry; each cadre, civil servant, public employee, and worker in the Industry and Trade sector with the spirit of "sharing food and clothes", "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves" to support each person with at least one day's salary to transfer to the Fatherland Front Committee as soon as possible to contribute to sharing with people in storm, flood, and natural disaster areas.
At the same time, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien also requested the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to coordinate with the Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to do it well and quickly to be able to transfer it to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, supporting people to overcome storms and floods.
According to the general direction of the Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Ministry, Party committees at all levels, agencies, units, and enterprises coordinate with authorities at all levels to organize donations and support and commit to using all support funds for the right purposes, effectively, and transparently. The Office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade will be the focal agency to receive the support funds and synthesize them to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Receiving directly, cadres, civil servants, and workers in the Industry and Trade sector can also support people to overcome floods through the QR code of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
With the good tradition of the Industry and Trade sector, along with the solidarity, consensus and high determination of the entire political system and the entire people, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will make great efforts together with the whole country to overcome the damage, support people in localities that are suffering losses and damages caused by storms and floods, contributing to alleviating difficulties, adding strength for people in flooded areas to firmly overcome difficulties and challenges.
