Realizing the innovation strategy in education
Originating from the idea of General Secretary To Lam, the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) has had an initiative to implement the "STEM Innovation Petrovietnam" Program, the program was initiated by the General Secretary, Prime Minister and Party and State leaders at the 50th anniversary of Petrovietnam's establishment. With the goal of building 100 international standard STEM rooms in 34 provinces and cities across the country, this is the largest education project ever initiated by a business, a step of national strategy in training human resources in science and technology, contributing to the formation of a new generation of knowledgeable citizens of Vietnam.
Implementing that orientation, BSR has actively implemented the program with a specific and detailed plan. Accordingly, BSR will sponsor the construction of 15 STEM departments in 5 localities including: Dien Bien, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Dak Lak. Each room is worth about 3.5 billion VND, including: equipment systems, software, learning materials, interior and teacher training costs.
The classrooms are designed according to international standards, with an area of 80-120m2 and equipped with an 86-inch interactive screen system, laptop, 3D printer, CNC cutter, AI - IoT - Robotics equipment, and smart classroom simulation and management software.
In parallel with sponsoring equipment, BSR focuses on improving the capacity of the teaching staff. The company cooperates with Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi National University and the Vietnam Academy of Sciences to organize specialized training courses, instruct teachers on how to use modern equipment, build interdisciplinary lessons, organize scientific research projects and apply technology in teaching, thereby helping teachers grasp skills and spread STEM education methods in the locality.

After installation, classrooms will participate in the STEM Innovation Petrovietnam network, connect with schools nationwide, share teaching resources, and organize online seminars. After that, it will gradually connect with STEM rooms around the world, helping students from many countries of the same age to exchange and share knowledge.
Investing in education is investing in the future
For BSR, STEM education is not only a community support project, but a part of a sustainable development strategy - investment for people, for the future of the young generation of Vietnam. Through STEM rooms, BSR and Petrovietnam not only help students access modern technology, but also arouse creativity, practice scientific thinking and pride in Vietnamese knowledge. Mr. Nguyen Cuu Huy - Principal of Tran Phu High School (Da Nang City) said that the STEM education practice room is a valuable opportunity for students to learn and be creative in a highly interactive environment, helping to turn dry lessons into vivid experiences, arousing a passion for learning.
The viewpoint of "investing in education is investing in the future" is expressed by BSR throughout the implementation of social security projects. A clear demonstration of this is that in more than 17 years of establishment and development, BSR has spent hundreds of billions of VND to build schools and sponsor educational programs across the country. For BSR, the implementation of STEM Innovation Petrovietnam is not only a deeply humane social security activity, but also a commitment of the enterprise to serve the Fatherland, promote knowledge development and creativity. Today's STEM rooms will be a place to arouse students' scientific ideas and dreams, so that tomorrow they will become engineers, researchers, and experts, actively contributing to the development of the country. In parallel with the production and business mission, the Company always attaches importance to social responsibility, considering education for future generations as part of BSR's sustainable development strategy.

With STEM Innovation Petrovietnam, Petrovietnam and member units such as BSR not only affirm that education and innovation are the foundation for sustainable development, but also demonstrate the social responsibility of an "ethnic enterprise", continuing to strengthen the image of a pioneering group for innovation, harmoniously linking socio-economic development and investment in human resources.
On November 21, Petrovietnam will hold the inauguration ceremony of the STEM education practice room at Buon Ma Thuot High School (Dak Lak province). Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong - Principal of the school shared: "I am very happy that the school is sponsored with a STEM department, this is a great opportunity for the school to innovate more strongly in teaching and learning. The school hopes that the STEM department will create a "push" for teaching and learning: students can practice more, teachers can innovate better and the creative movement will develop significantly".
