Giant sturgeon from Da River auctioned for 150 million VND

Hoa Binh - A 45kg sturgeon was auctioned for 150 million VND at the 2nd Da River Fish and Shrimp Festival.

On the night of November 19, information from the Organizing Committee of the 2nd Da River Fish and Shrimp Festival in Hoa Binh Province in 2024 said that at the opening ceremony of the program, a 45kg Da River sturgeon product was auctioned for up to 150 million VND.

The auction winner is the representative of the Fishing Club - Fun Fishing of Bao Tin Minh Chau brand.

This heavy sturgeon product was raised by Hai Dang Seafood Company Limited in Hoa Binh Lake.

Also at the program, a 30kg black carp product raised in natural water sources by Cuong Thinh Seafood and Service Company Limited with a starting price of 20 million VND was also auctioned up to 105 million VND.

According to information from the organizing committee, the entire auction amount at the 2nd Da River Shrimp and Fish Festival in 2024 will be used to buy fish fry to release on Hoa Binh Lake to create a new source of aquatic products.
