On August 22, the People's Committees of 5 central wards of Da Lat including Xuan Huong - Da Lat, Lam Vien - Da Lat, Lang Biang - Da Lat, Xuan Truong - Da Lat, Cam Ly - Da Lat and the People's Committee of Lac Duong commune organized a meeting to call for investment attraction in 2026.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat said that 6 localities have a total natural area of more than 1,500km2, a population of more than 300,000 people, playing an important role in the socio-economic development of the province.
With the advantages of cool climate, natural landscapes and tourism attraction, localities identify businesses and the private economy as important drivers of growth.
The government is committed to accompanying and creating a favorable environment for businesses to invest and develop in the long term.
At the conference, localities introduced many projects calling for investment in the fields of tourism, urban areas, trade and services.
Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat calls for investment in Prenn Pass parking lot of more than 38ha; 9ha tourist area at Tuyen Lam National Tourist Area; exploitation of the underground area of Anh Sang Park of 8.43ha and an international commercial center of more than 9,000m2 at Lam Vien Square.
Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat introduced 5 projects, including residential area No. 1 nearly 75ha, service and landscape tourism area of Me Linh Lake over 7.2ha, lake park No. 1 nearly 25.7ha and urban area of Xuan Huong Lake road - National Highway 27C about 530ha.
Lang Biang, Cam Ly, Xuan Truong wards also called for investment in Dankia - Suoi Vang National Tourist Area of more than 3,998ha, urban area, lake No. 7 tourism service of more than 63ha, along with residential area projects, eco-tourism and social housing.
Through the conference, localities expect to strengthen connections with the business community, effectively exploit land, tourism and service potentials, creating more momentum for economic development in the Da Lat area in the coming time.
