Lang Son - Prolonged rain and floods caused National Highway 4A to be blocked in two sections passing through Na Sam and That Khe communes.

According to the Lang Son Provincial Department of Construction, by 7:00 AM on August 23, National Highway 4A was blocked at Km15+800, belonging to Na Sam commune and Km50, belonging to That Khe commune.

Due to prolonged rain and floods, the congestion on this arterial road may not be overcome soon.

People and businesses from That Khe to the central urban area of Lang Son province are advised to choose one of the two alternative routes.

With the first route, vehicles from That Khe go through the new Pac Luong bridge, up National Highway 3B, then turn into the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway to return to Dong Dang.

In the second option, vehicles departing from the center of That Khe commune, follow National Highway 3B towards Quoc Khanh commune.

At Km9, the driver turned left onto the border patrol road, moved to Na Hinh border gate, continued along provincial road 230, Na Sam - Na Hinh section, then entered National Highway 4A to go to Dong Dang.

Functional agencies recommend that traffic participants monitor weather conditions and announce traffic diversion; comply with traffic signs and instructions of task forces.

Drivers should not arbitrarily pass through deep flooded locations, landslides or areas that have been fenced off.
