On March 22, according to PV's investigation, recently the Standing Committee of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee agreed on the policy of putting De Tham Industrial Cluster into the adjusted Provincial Plan for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050, based on a comprehensive review of the current situation and the implementation process in the past time.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee requested to study and develop the De Tham area in the direction of forming a concentrated industrial space, ensuring reasonable scale, synchronous technical and social infrastructure.
The selection of models (industrial zones or industrial clusters) will be carefully considered to improve land use efficiency, create favorable conditions for investment attraction and long-term management.
Regarding development orientation, Cao Bang emphasized prioritizing clean industry, processing and manufacturing, supporting industries, logistics and high-tech application.
At the same time, do not attract projects that pose a risk of pollution and waste of resources. The requirement for environmental treatment systems is set right from the planning stage.

Cao Bang province also sets a goal to select capable and experienced investors, ensuring a transparent investment process, synchronous and modern infrastructure, contributing to improving the ability to attract secondary projects.
Previously, in February 2026, the Provincial People's Committee worked with BMK Group to exchange cooperation opportunities for infrastructure investment in industrial zones and clusters.
The enterprise plans to conduct field surveys and develop specific plans to submit to the province in the near future. Local leaders affirmed that they will accompany and create favorable conditions for investors.
Currently, despite having great mineral potential, Cao Bang still lacks large-scale deep processing zones, making industrial production activities unsustainable.
Meanwhile, with the advantage of borders, if synchronously invested in industrial and transport infrastructure, the locality is expected to create a "push" for growth.
Local people also expect new industrial projects. Many opinions believe that when the industrial park is formed and put into operation, it will open up stable job opportunities, contributing to limiting the situation of workers having to go to work far away.
