On December 20, according to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, hundreds of traders and traders in the area of Rong Ninh Binh Market (in Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh) have been relocated to new business locations. Construction units are mobilizing machinery and human resources to demolish the market communal house area.
This is a Grade II market, before the demolition of Dragon Market, there were more than 700 households here doing business and trading with all kinds of goods from food, fresh food, fruits to household items, clothes, essential items to serve the shopping and consumption needs of the people.
Having to move away from the market that they have been attached to and made a living for decades has made many traders at Rong Ninh Binh Market regretful. However, this is the State's policy to clear the land, the traders here are very supportive and urgently move to the new business location.
As one of the first people to move to do business at Nam Thanh market, Ms. Dang Thi Soi shared: "I have been working at Dragon Market for nearly 40 years. This is a traditional market with its own brand of the old Ninh Binh province.
Seeing the market demolished, we are truly regretful. However, because of the general policy of the province, we also agree. When I moved here, I was supported with 30 million VND, the rental price here was also suitable. Business is also very favorable, but the number of customers is less than at Dragon Market" - Ms. Soi said.
Mr. Cao Hai Nam - Head of the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs Department of Hoa Lu Ward - said that the demolition of Dragon Market is to serve the project to build Cha La Bridge and the Nam Song Van Irrigation Complex as well as the landscape planning of the two banks of the Van River.
Before demolition, the People's Committee of the ward assigned the Hoa Lu Market Management Board to organize propaganda and encourage traders to move to new business locations, which are traditional markets in Hoa Lu ward and neighboring wards. At the same time, develop a plan to organize arrangement, location allocation, and support movement for traders.

"Through the current propaganda and mobilization work, traders have agreed to move goods and assets to new business locations to serve the demolition of the Dragon Market communal house. The demolition is expected to be completed before December 31, 2025" - Mr. Nam said.
According to Mr. Nam, to speed up the move to serve site clearance, the Hoa Lu Market Management Board has arranged households to move to do business at Nam Thanh Market, Quang Trung Market, Nha Market, Trung Nhi Market, Nhat Tan Market...
