Quang Ngai - In August 2025, Hoa Phat Group will start construction of a factory for the production of high-speed steel rails and special- form steel.

On July 18, Hoa Phat Group said that in August 2025, Hoa Phat will start construction of a special high-speed and bulk steel rails factory in Dung Quat Economic Zone, to provide products for key national projects such as the North-South high-speed railway project, the Hai Phong - Hanoi - Lao Cai railway project, and many urban railway projects in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Also according to Hoa Phat Group, in the second quarter of 2025, Hoa Phat Group recorded more than VND36 trillion in revenue and VND4,300 billion in profit after tax. In the first 6 months of the year, the Group achieved revenue of more than 74 trillion VND, profit after tax reached more than 7,600 billion VND, up 5% and 23% respectively over the same period last year.

Hoa Phat Group will complete the No. 6 elevated furnace, part of phase 2 of the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Steel Association of Industrial Parks project in September 2025. After completion, the total steel output of the Group will reach 16 million tons/year, including 9 million tons of hot-rolled coil, meeting 100% of the demand for this product in the Vietnamese market.

In 2025, Hoa Phat plans to do business with VND170 trillion in revenue and VND15 trillion in profit after tax. With the above results, after the first 6 months of the year, the Group has completed 44% of the revenue plan and 51% of the profit plan after tax. The steel and related products group contributed mainly with nearly 90% to the Group's consolidated revenue.
