As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, last July, the electricity bill of Ms. Dung's family (Quyet Tien village, Vinh An commune, Phu Tho province) suddenly skyrocketed compared to previous months, up to more than 1.4 million VND, while in previous months it fluctuated around 700,000 VND - 800,000 VND.
Notably, the amount of electricity consumed recorded in the invoice matches the household of the older sister, although the two households have very different living hours and levels of electrical equipment use.

According to information from Lao Dong Newspaper, households in Vinh An Commune are not in the area where Phu Tho Power Company directly signed a power purchase contract.
This area is currently invested by Chan Hung Power Company Limited to build a power grid system, buy and sell electricity from the State and directly retail to customers.
This is a business that has been granted a power operation license, participates in electricity trading and competes directly with the national power industry in accordance with legal regulations.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporter, Mr. Phung Van Thuan - Chairman of Vinh An Commune People's Committee - said that immediately after receiving feedback from local people about the unusually increased electricity bill situation in the recent past, the Commune People's Committee has directed local police and electricity forces to review.
At the same time, the People's Committee of the commune sent a document requesting Chan Hung Power Company Limited to inspect and clarify the people's reflection. The commune police also coordinated with the company to contact households to check all related contents.
"According to the company's report, the inspection results showed no abnormalities," Mr. Thuan informed.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters repeatedly contacted Mr. Vu Van Chinh - the legal representative of Chan Hung Power Company Limited - to clarify the information.
However, Mr. Chinh said: "I'm busy, I don't know anything" and immediately turned off the phone. After that, although the reporter continued to call and text, Mr. Chinh did not respond.
