On the evening of January 22, Da Nang City Department of Industry and Trade organized the opening of the 2026 Spring Fair, meeting the shopping needs of people during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, contributing to the good implementation of market stabilization in the city before, during and after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026. The program takes place from now until January 27.

The program has a scale of more than 200 booths with the participation of nearly 150 units, businesses, and cooperatives from 14 provinces and cities across the country and 2 international provinces and cities: Champasak, Atapu (Laos).
Products and services displayed at the Fair are rich and diverse, focusing on groups of goods serving the Tet shopping needs of people, including: food, beverages, regional specialties, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products...
In addition, there are garment fashion, leather and footwear, cosmetics, sports equipment; health care products, beauty services; household goods, interior - exterior decoration, handicrafts; equipment, technology and services such as electrical - electronic equipment, automobiles and telecommunications services...

Within the framework, there is also the "Propaganda to reduce plastic waste" program with activities: "Going to the market without plastic bags" (Green Check-in); booth "Refill - Filled with love".
The 2026 Spring Fair is one of the annual trade promotion activities, organized on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year of the nation to continue effectively implementing programs and activities in response to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
At the same time, this Fair is organized in conjunction with activities to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress, aiming to implement socio-economic development goals and in accordance with the city's trade promotion orientation.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Ms. Do Thi Quynh Tram - Deputy Director of Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade said that in 2025, Da Nang City's Industry and Trade sector has completed and exceeded the assigned socio-economic targets; in which, the industrial production index increased by 8.88%, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased by 17%, export turnover increased by 12%, making an important contribution to the city's overall growth target.
Continuing the results achieved last year, in 2026, the Industry and Trade sector identified key objectives: total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue increased from 16-18%; export turnover increased from 11-12%; industrial production index increased from 9-10%.
To realize these goals, the Department of Industry and Trade promotes in-depth trade promotion activities; strengthens support for businesses to expand domestic and export markets, associated with modern distribution systems, e-commerce and cross-border e-commerce. In which, the 2026 Spring Fair is one of the specific activities, opening the chain of trade promotion programs of the industry in the new year," Ms. Tram said.
