On January 21, Da Nang City People's Committee said - it has just issued a decision to fine Tri Viet Hoi An Joint Stock Company (Hoi An Tay ward) a total of 389 million VND for violating regulations on environmental protection and food safety. This move is part of a strengthened inspection and examination at businesses and industrial parks in the area.

In the context of increasingly tight requirements on "clean production", environmental risk control and meal quality, penalties are seen as a tough message: violating businesses will have to pay the price with financial sanctions and remedial pressure.
Recently, Da Nang has strengthened inspection and examination of law compliance, especially in areas prone to violations such as discharge, waste management, hygiene - food safety conditions and obligations to workers.
Previously, related to the work of controlling waste discharge in industrial parks, the city fined 6 enterprises in Tam Thang Industrial Park (Ban Thach ward) for violating regulations on waste discharge/not preliminary treatment of wastewater according to the required conditions, the reported fine is 55 million VND/enterprise.
In the fields of labor, wages and insurance, Niwa Foundry Vietnam Co., Ltd. has also just been fined 262 million VND, due to serious violations in occupational safety and health.

According to Mr. Tran Nam Hung - Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, the government is ready to accompany and provide maximum support in terms of procedures and policies for businesses to operate, but must comply with legal regulations.
Continuous sanctioning decisions show that Da Nang is promoting "cleaning" the production and business environment: from waste discharge to food safety, from labor discipline to insurance obligations. For businesses, this is not only a story of "paying fines", but also a risk management problem: if compliance is underestimated, damage can extend from remedial costs, operational disruptions to brand reputation.
