On May 13, Da Nang City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang and the working delegation surveyed the reality of the Ngoc Linh ginseng growing area in Tra Linh commune, and at the same time visited and encouraged people and units participating in developing medicinal herbs in the area.

In Tra Linh commune, the working delegation visited and surveyed the reality at the ginseng garden of Mr. Ho Van Du's household (residing in hamlet 2, Tra Linh commune).
This is one of the typical households in developing and preserving Ngoc Linh ginseng in the area. At the survey, the delegation learned about the process of planting, caring for, and protecting ginseng gardens as well as the advantages and difficulties that households are facing in the process of economic development from ginseng.

The model not only brings stable economic efficiency to families but also contributes to raising people's awareness about preserving and developing precious medicinal herbs under the forest canopy.
Through practical surveys, Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang highly appreciated the proactive and bold spirit of local people investing in ginseng development, and at the same time acknowledged that this is a sustainable economic development direction, associated with protecting forest resources and improving the lives of people in mountainous areas.

On the same day, the working delegation visited Tra Linh Medicinal Material Station (managed by the Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Materials Development Center under the Department of Agriculture and Environment).
The delegation directly surveyed the seedling nursery area, planting area, and conservation area of Ngoc Linh ginseng root and listened to a quick report on the preparation of procedures for proposing investment projects to grow and develop Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs in the city.
