Dak Lak province sets an economic growth target of 8% or more in 2025; in the last 6 months of the year alone, it strives to reach 8.64%.
The average value of the total product per capita by the end of 2025 will reach about 80 million VND/person.
Total export turnover in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 2.2 billion USD, an increase of 2.2% over the previous year; of which the last 6 months of the year reached 715 million USD.
Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at VND16,310 billion, up 15% over 2024, of which the last 6 months of the year are estimated at VND7,592 billion.
Three key solutions need to be synchronous
To contribute to the implementation of the economic growth target of 8% in 2025, Mr. Do Thai Phong - Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council - said that the locality needs to implement synchronous solutions, with three main focuses that the entire political system must focus on implementing.
Firstly, the province needs to effectively implement the policies and resolutions of the Central, Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee related to socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security.
Second, Dak Lak needs to review, adjust and complete the new provincial planning in an open direction, not simply a combination between the two old provinces (Phu Yen and Dak Lak), in order to maximize the advantages of regional linkages and effectively exploit existing potential.
Third, it is necessary to exploit and maximize the potential and advantages of each region. The West of Dak Lak has strengths in agriculture, especially high-tech agriculture and deep processing of agricultural products.
Meanwhile, the East has advantages in marine economy, with the potential to attract large projects in Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone.

In the first 6 months of 2025, Dak Lak's economy continued to maintain its growth momentum, with most of the targets achieving a good growth rate.
The economic growth rate is estimated at 7.14%. Total state budget revenue reached VND 8,718 billion, up 32% over the same period. Total export turnover is estimated at nearly 1.5 billion USD, reaching 66.4% of the annual plan.
