Recently, on social networks, there have been many shares about the situation of electricity bills for consecutive months being 100% the same. Mr. Ngo Anh Hai (Vinh Loc ward) said: "In July, my family uses 429kWh, the total amount is 1,268,827 VND. August is the same, not a single penny wrong. The same situation was confirmed by Mr. Nguyen Van Binh (Truong Vinh ward).
Mr. Nguyen Van Binh said that the above phenomenon is unusual and unlikely to happen.

Responding to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper on September 5, Mr. Pham Van Nga - Deputy Director of Nghe An Power Company - affirmed that he had grasped the above information and provided an explanation.
"Currently, the measurement of electricity index is completely automatic with electronic meters, the electricity consumption number is constantly updated, data cannot be interventionally. If the same amount of electricity consumption is consumed for 2 consecutive months (calculated as the whole kWh), the bill will match" - Mr. Nga said.
Regarding the suspicion of "copy invoices" or incorrect calculation systems, Mr. Nga denied and affirmed: "There can be no errors or manipulation of the measurement system. All are operated automatically and are closely monitored."
The leaders of Nghe An Power Company also recommended that people use energy-saving measures to ensure the safety of the power system in the family. In case of suspicion about the abnormality of the metric index, customers can contact the electricity company for answers and support.
"We are always committed to accompanying customers, being objective and transparent in all related issues, improving service quality" - Mr. Pham Van Nga affirmed.
Previously, regarding the reflection on the unusually high August bill despite stormy weather, Nghe An Electricity said that from August 1 to 23, the weather in many areas - including Nghe An - will be very hot, with temperatures exceeding 3739°C, sometimes reaching 40°C. At this stage, the demand for air conditioners and cooling equipment has increased sharply. At the end of the month, despite storms and floods, it is not enough to reduce previously consumed electricity output" - Mr. Pham Van Nga explained.
Nghe An Electricity also recommends that people use electricity economically, monitor output via the EVNNPC application. During the three summer months, the electricity industry continuously guided savings measures such as: placing air conditioners at 2628°C, limiting the use of many devices at the same time, prioritizing devices with energy labels.
